03 Mar The A-List: March Madness: What’s On In Auckland This Month
What’s On In Auckland:
It’s the remnants of summer, even if it doesn’t feel like it sometimes! In order to make the most of the last of the sunshine and warm weather (when it decides to hang out in Auckland) here are some of our top picks to check out with friends and family.
Auckland War Memorial Museum – Home Front
Opening today, the Auckland War Memorial Museum’s latest exhibition Home Front is all about life ‘at home’ during World War 1. It’s the third instalment in a series of WW1 centenary commemorative exhibitions. A detailed look into a major part of New Zealand’s history.
26th Feb – 13th Nov 2016
Auckland Arts Festival
The arts are like a waharoa to a new world, a gateway to welcome you. So welcome to the Auckland Arts Festival where the programme crosses time, cultures, borders and art forms and has diversity at its heart.
The Auckland Arts Festival opens with Carabosse’s Fire Garden where you can walk amongst the flaming sculptures and be transformed.
There are many moments to laugh, to sing along, admire an artist and be swept away with a story. There is magic and memories a-plenty.

Although a little while away, tickets are selling fast and this is definitely one you don’t want to miss! Finally Auckland has their own music festival and it’s one to take note of. With headlining acts including the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Fat Freddy’s Drop and Shapeshifter, this one day event promises to be bigger and better than anything our little city has seen.
