The A-List: Winter is Here – July’s Top Events and Activities

Winter is here

For months we’ve been hearing that winter is coming, and now the season is most definitely here. With rainy days and gloomy skies, winter often gives us all the urge to just stay in our pj’s all day and binge watch shows on Netflix. But with the school holidays coming up and exciting events happening all around Auckland, you’ll be rushing out the door in no time, minus the pj’s (we hope).

Here’s what’s cool this July:

With the ice skates officially being hung up for the season on the 24th of July its time to rush down to Aotea Square and become the ice dancer you have always dreamed of being, or take the kids down for a whirl on the ice. With skates and frames for the kids available on site and a penguin kid’s zone for beginners, you can sit back and drink coffee out of your vintage thermos knowing the kiddies are safe. For the more adventurous there’s a double-laned ice slide to test your skills. With so much going on who wouldn’t want to get amongst it?
